Has done it again, I expected nothing less always enjoyable reads!!!!!! Keep up the excellent work and keep the books coming!!!!
Ever since reading Ash's story, I have been waiting for a book about Ethan. If you have been keeping up with the Clan series, then you know that Ethan is a troubled bear. His fellow clan members, as well as a few area wolf pack members, have been keeping their eyes on him. He has proven to be unstable and they are seriously worried that he might actually have to be put down.
Ethan has had a run-in with humans in the past that didn't turn out well....for the humans. He doesn't trust his bear at all now, and especially since he has seen Gracie, the woman he knows is his mate. Afraid that his bear (who he knows has killed humans before) will take control and harm his mate, he tries to run away. He fully expect his Alpha to have to hunt him down and end his life. What he does NOT expect is for Gracie to be the one to hunt him down. Ethan is her mate, and she is determined to find out why he doesn't want her.
I enjoyed meeting some old friends from the wolf pack. And, as always, it's fun to see Connor, (the resident snarky vampire), get involved in whatever is going on with the clan and the packs.
I do have a quick question for the author. The last several books about the bear clan have always included Connor, as well as the bears's mates, who are all witches. But I have noticed that Connor's mate (who is also a witch, and whose name I can't recall) never appears in any of these books, and is rarely ever mentioned. Connor seems to spend a lot of time away from his own mate, checking up on the clan, but he never brings her with him, and seldom talks about her. I'm just wondering why he doesn't seem to mind leaving her alone so much, or why she allows this. Did I miss something somewhere?
I always enjoy the books by Briers and Lee, and am looking forward to the next one. I don't even bother downloading a sample onto my anymore, I just order the book as soon as a new one by either of these authors comes out. A good read at a good price on the Unlimited program, it certainly gets my recommendation.
NOPE....I like many bear shifter romances except this series. I do not like for the shifters to claim true mates but are Man-whores until they run across them. Then the females get no say or choice at all because the bear will go berserk if she tries to go, & they may do that any way (before the "claiming"). What?!?!?!
I love this author , have not read one book I didn't love . It's a light read with fun and chuckles ..
This series is absolutely wonderful. The characters are well developed and follow through out the series. The plots are great and funny. I highly recommended this series
loved it.. Loved how Gracie was enough for Ethan even after what he went through. Awesome book and cant wait for more on the other pack.. yay!!
Awww Ethan, he really carried a terrible burden for a long time. He really miss judged his bear. Loved Gracie. A first she seems a sweet ditz. She has a core of steel and great instincts. She fought hard for Ethan, when he wouldn't. Loved their story.
Really hoping that Dexter's pack will be next. His beta George seems nothing but trouble, but there had to be something. There is no way Dexter would allow anyone he didn't trust near Isobel. Can't wait for the next book.
